Still, the AMV is mostly finished and I may post it here once I make the finishing touches (effects and whatnot). /rebates/&.com252fvideo-editor252ffree-video-editing-software-windows.

It's a little intensive on my computer though so video playback was stutter-y. It's professional-grade like Resolve but easier to use. It was pretty much exactly what I wanted. If you have a software that works for you, feel free to tell me.ĮDIT: I ended going up with Lightworks. Something pretty-looking is appreciated but not necessary.ĮDIT: Honestly any recommendations will do. So, does anyone have suggestions on what software to use? Again, I'd like something free and similar to Filmora. Filmora X has all the basic editing features you expect, plus advanced editing features such as split-screen presets, green screen, color grading, audio keyframes, and more. I'm playing music over anime clips, not producing a feature-length film. Wondershare Filmora X for win is an intuitive, easily mastered, video editing software that lets you focus on making your videos amazing. With it, you can quickly start your creation and share them with loved ones directly, even if you are new to video editing. It simplifies advanced features to make them accessible to everyone.

I also tried DaVinci Resolve 12 which is some real high-end stuff (they apparently use the full version for Hollywood movies), but it's complicated, I can't figure out how to add music (if that's even possible), and it's honestly more than I need. As a powerful and intuitive video editor, Wondershare Filmora enables you to make complex and amazing-looking videos easily. Instead of importing media to use for later, it just lumps it all together into one big video. I then downloaded Windows Movie Maker because I remember it having a similar format to Filmora, but as you can see, that's no longer the case. I like the layout of it, but when you export the project as a video, it adds a nasty little watermark.

So I'm making an AMV, but first I need some good, free software to make it.
